A mailbox is an address at the origin linked to your account, which you use as the shipping address when you buy online. Novara Logistics receives your packages there, records them with a photo and their weight, and ships them to Panama, where you can pick them up or arrange delivery. Routes run from Miami, Colombia and China.
How is the shipping charge calculated?
Novara Logistics charges per pound. Weight is rounded up to the next full pound, with a 1 lb minimum, and depending on the type of cargo the actual or the volumetric weight is used. The per-pound rate depends on the route: current rates are published on this site and the rest are quoted.
How long does shipping to Panama take?
It depends on the origin route, whether Miami, Colombia or China, and on the type of cargo, so Novara Logistics does not publish a single delivery time. The estimated time for your route is given with the quote. Meanwhile, you can follow every status change of your package online with its tracking code.
What is a pre-alert?
A pre-alert is the notice you register in your account when you buy something that will arrive at your mailbox: you enter the carrier, the store tracking number and a description of the contents. With that information Novara Logistics identifies the package on arrival and links it to your account without mix-ups.
What cannot be shipped?
Items that are prohibited or restricted by the laws of Panama or of the origin country are not accepted, nor goods that transport rules do not allow, such as hazardous or flammable materials. Some products need additional permits or documents. Before buying, check with Novara Logistics whether your item can be shipped on the route you chose.
How do I know the status of my package?
With your tracking code you can check the status on this site: expected, received at origin, in transit to Panama, received in Panama, ready for pickup or delivered. If the package has a hold that needs review, that is shown as well. On arrival, Novara Logistics records its photo and its weight as evidence.
